Types of Family Disputes

Mediation is a generic process that can be applied to a wide variety of disputes involving or emanating from the family unit. Some examples are listed below:

  • Divorce
  • Separation
  • Child custody and care provisions
  • Division of assets, finance and property
  • Probate and estate disputes

In each given case, the appointed family mediator will work with the parties to discuss the key issues, agree the most appropriate way forward and schedule a series of meetings. The decision making process rests with the parties throughout.
