Allis is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team. She is a Solicitor Advocate and also acts part time in a judicial capacity in the Property Chamber of the First Tier Tribunal.  Her areas of expertise are contentious real estate disputes; Dilapidations, disputed overage and options, adverse possession claims, rights of light, development disputes, disputed lease renewals, landlord and tenant disputes and real estate professional negligence; Agriculture tenancy disputes; Environmental/waste operator disputes.

Allis trained and qualified at Hogan Lovells, where she practised for 15 years. She led the Real Estate disputes team at Stevens & Bolton, before joining a well-known leading regional law firm.  Allis is also a part-time Judge of the Property Chamber, Land Registration Division, First Tier Tribunal

 

Recent Cases have included:

- Advising in relation to £1m+ dilapidations claim for an international airport operator

- Advising in relation to £1.5m+ disputed overage claim against major institutional pension fund

- Advising a national waste operator in relation to a contractual dispute

- Advising in relation to claims for rights of light and claims for possession of land in respect of disputed developments

- Determining a long standing agricultural holding under the AHA 1986
