Ceri is a solicitor and has considerable experience in dealing with disputes of a varying nature, including but not limited to property disputes, commercial contract disputes and employment law disputes. Over the course of her career she has witnessed first hand the pain that can be caused by expensive litigation and wishes to encourage and assist parties willing to engage in mediation to avoid litigation wherever possible. Ceri is enthusiastic about her role in bringing about the amicable settlement of disputes and her strength lies in assisting parties to resolve their differences. Ceri is an avid listener who is able to build a good rapport with the parties and is able to communicate effectively with them thereby facilitating positive negotiations.
Ceri is a qualified solicitor. For the first five years at the start of her legal career, she worked as a general practitioner undertaking work involving various legal issues. As a result, Ceri has an extensive knowledge of the law in general which allows her to recognise and identify many different and quite often underlying issues within the disputes that she handles. Ceri has experience in undertaking work in the following legal fields:
• Employment disputes
• Property and boundary disputes
• Commercial disputes
• Contract disputes
Ceri now primarily undertakes legal work in the commercial field and generally undertakes work of a non contentious nature which has allowed her to gain further insight and legal knowledge in the commercial field and the relationship between various parties. In addition it has allowed her to work in an area that seeks to ensure that parties achieve their mutual goal in a way which avoids unnecessary disputes in the future.
Ceri herself enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities which include horse riding and clay pigeon shooting. Ceri also enjoys running and has completed a number of half marathons and hopes one day to build up the courage to attempt, and hopefully complete a full marathon.
