Christopher has over 36 years dispute resolution experience, 24 of these were as a Senior Partner at one of the largest dispute resolution firms of solicitors in the UK. Resolving civil commercial disputes has been the very essence of Chris’s career and he has remained on as a consultant for the firm. Having trained as a mediator in 2001 Christopher has since gone on to carve out a reputation as a highly respected Mediator.
Although Chris specialises in all matters involving Corporate Risks and also Personal Injury, he has mediated on a wide range of disputes including but not limited to Commercial Contracts, Landlord and Tenant, Professional Indemnity, Property, Partnership and boundary disputes. Chris comes to the mediation well prepared, energetic and pragmatic in approach. He has an insight into the issues that really matter. Chris instils confidence in the parties that with him as Mediator, the resolution they seek is achievable.
Chris acts for both corporate and individual clients. He joined his current firm in 1981 and spearheaded the opening of the firm’s Birmingham Office in 1990 where he oversaw its growth dealing exclusively with resolving disputes involving a whole variety of specialisms. He grew a team from scratch to 185 people, all of whom are involved in some way with the resolution of disputes.
