Alan is a Solicitor and former of Partner the International Law Firm, Clifford Chance, specialising in UK and International Construction and Engineering Contracts and Property Development Agreements.  He has in depth knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of business and commercial issues including corporate, joint venture, partnership, contract, property, finance, insurance and employment issues.

Alan is a practical  problem solver and natural  communicator and draws on extensive business experience acting as a negotiator and resolving disputes on behalf of clients in connection with high profile and high value construction, engineering and property development projects, UK and overseas. He has extensive experience of a wide range of commercial issues including contract, property, finance, insurance and employment. He is an ADR Group trained and accredited mediator. He also brings to mediation his project management and mentoring skills.

Alan is a Solicitor, with extensive business experience across the private, education and charity sectors.  Alan is a former Partner of the International Law Firm, Clifford Chance.  He is currently Vice Chair of the London School of Economics and serves as a Magistrate for Central London.

Alan loves to travel and enjoys participating in a range of sports and outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and scuba diving. He supports West Ham United.
