Lawrence brings to mediation a wealth of experience from his insolvency practice which has a focus on contentious insolvency and associated litigation. Routinely mediating disputes as an applicant he is a firm believer in the value and benefit of mediation in resolving disputes.
Lawrence was a partner in an accountancy practice in Oxford and head of its Business Recovery & Insolvency team from 2015 to 2021. In summer 2021 he set up his own practice with two other insolvency practitioners and trades from offices in both Abingdon & Reading.

A Licensed Insolvency Practitioner for 10 years. Trained and qualified at a mid-tier accountancy practice in Slough before moving to a mid-tier practice in Oxford.
Acting as Trustee, Liquidator and Administrator in formal insolvency appointments. He undertakes litigation on a day to day basis in his capacity as an Insolvency Practitioner and is a keen advocate of the mediation process as a tool to pragmatically resolve a variety of disputes in a timely manner. His experience in dealing with acute financial problems and his ability to engage with all involved to concisely define a problem and construct a possible resolution lends itself well to the mediation process.
