Mediation is an effective method of resolving disputes between two or more parties. The Mediator, a neutral independent qualified professional, assists all the sides in negotiating a mutually agreeable settlement.
Participation in mediation is voluntary and the process is private and confidential, it brings structure that ordinary negotiation lacks. The decision to settle and the terms of an agreement rest solely with the parties themselves, not the mediator. Over 90% of ADR Group administered mediations settle on the day or shortly thereafter making it an attractive alternative to drawn out litigation, whilst reducing your legal costs and the stress associated with taking a dispute to trial.
ADR Group can tailor a proposal of three mediators taking into account the specifics of your dispute, such as the mediators area of specialism, location and cost. Alternatively, parties are free to jointly agree a mediator from our panel.
A successful outcome often depends on the mediator’s skill and training. ADR Group only appoint ADR Group accredited mediators to deal with your dispute. Our mediators, having completed our rigourous training programme meet UK and European standards in professionalism and adhere to the practice and standards of the Civil Mediation Council - the UK's recognised authority for all matters related to civil, commercial, workplace and other non-family mediation.
