Civil and Commercial Mediation

We understand that engaging in mediation is an important business decision. Outlined below are some factors that you may find helpful to consider before making that decision.

Why Consider ADR Group?

  • Core Expertise
As the first company in the UK to offer alternative dispute resolution services, ADRg has had over two decades of experience in resolving civil and commercial disputes spanning practically every industry. Over the years we have expanded our national panel of highly skilled accredited mediators to ensure that your dispute will be professionally and sensitively mediated

  • Independent Stance
Mediation requires the agreement of all parties and this can be a difficult step. However, due to our genuine neutral status, we are able to approach both parties separately to discuss options and ultimately to seek their consent to either proceed to mediation or to advise of another suitable dispute resolution process. All discussions and correspondence take place in confidence and with assured neutrality

  • Appointing a Suitable Mediator

ADRg’s national panel of mediators are all accredited and                               trained to the highest standards set by our regulatory                                      bodies. The choice of mediator rests ultimately with the                                     parties in dispute and/ or their legal representatives

.

  • Case Management                                                                        Once you have referred a case to ADRg, one of our Mediation Case Advisors will discuss your case requirements, before matching your specific criteria to our national panel of accredited mediators. You will then receive a proposed short-list of suitable mediators. Once a mediator has been selected and agreed by both parties, our Case Management Team will facilitate the administration process to allow parties to proceed to mediation

  • Professional Administration
Our Case Advisors will liaise with the parties and the mediator to agree a suitable date, time and venue for the mediation. Throughout the process we will offer support and guidance on other issues such as mediation preparation and documentation and communications

  • Transparent Costs
ADRg believes that mediation services should be available to all claims of all sizes. Our uniquely transparent pricing structure opens all claims to the mediation process. Our fees include the mediator’s fees and our administration costs

  • Quality Assurance                                                                               As part of our ongoing quality control we maintain a unique feedback system which details up-to-date information and feedback, from both our clients and mediators. This process enable mediators to continually develop and refine existing skill and ensure that current administrative systems are reviewed in order that the highest professional standards can be delivered.
