The state of affairs of mediation in Europe: what can governments do (more)?
In June 2006 a Conference was held in The Hague addressing the State of Affairs on Mediation in Europe and asking what [more] can governments do? The Conference was organised by the Netherlands Mediation Institute in co-operation with the Dutch Ministry of Justice. The attached compilation highlights the various discussions and presentations of the expert meeting. They make interesting reading. The future of mediation in many European countries is being shaped by Government. In the UK the Department of Constitutional Affairs is working closely with Her Majesty's Court Service and already beginning to shape the future. Be up to date. Be part of the change.
