An Evening with the Wihan Quartet
This year the ADR Group were delighted to be asked to sponsor renowned Wihan Quartet in concert. ADR Group celebrated this event by inviting fellow members of the ADR community to share in the performance at the prestigious Wigmore Hall in London.

The Wihan Quartet is one of the finest string Quartets to emerge from the Great School of Czech. The original Quartet formed in 1985 and have enjoyed a more than impressive international career, having toured across the world in locations in Europe, The Far East, America, Australia and New Zealand. They have also played at a number of prestigious UK venues including the Bridgewater Hall and the South Bank.

The Wihan Quartet have also worked closely with the Catavina Chamber Music Trust on many occasions, the trust is an extremely worthwhile charity, which the ADR Group has supported in previous years.

The Quartet delivered a breathtaking performance which consisted of:
Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) Quartet in D Major, Op.64 No.5 'The Lark'
Bedrich Smetana (1824-1884) String Quartet No.2 in D Minor
Franz Schubert (1797- 1828) String Quartet in A Minor D.804 'Rosamunde'
