Practice Overview
Bruce has 20 years experience in business, having built two businesses from start-up to sale. His business interests have included a field service business, a hotel software business, and a hybrid postal service. Early in his career he was a management consultant with OC&C Strategy Consultants. This wide-ranging business background makes him especially good at understanding the practical business issues underlying a dispute. Bruce also has experience in the education sector, as a long-serving school governor and a SEND mediator.
He can build rapport with people from all walks of life, from plumbers to CEOs, and build bridges between them.
Bruce values careful preparation and attention to detail. He puts great value on getting to the crux of an issue, to be able to explain it clearly to the other side. He is comfortable digging deep into the detail if this is necessary to bring clarity to an issue.
Bruce is thoughtful and patient, but won’t shy away from robustly challenging both sides to test and probe their position.
